Snowden
That was by far the most severe storm in the last 15 years I’ve been here in eastern LoCo. Still raining but at least the hail is gone. Was deafening at the peak from hitting all the cars.

Round Hill WX
My boys football game was canceled due to lightning nearby. It rained lightly for about 5 minutes. Second day in a row western loudoun missed out while just to the east has flood warnings. The drought continues.

That would be yours truly but I'll one you up. Try Herndon watching those downbursty rain/hail curtains drop immediately to my west for two days. About 2.3" the first through the 15th of the month. Last Fall was especially colorful with the early chill/decent rainfall. Unless we get wet/cool pretty quickly, expecting dull/muted leaf color this Fall. At least you will have leaves on the trees.

PWC Split
Impressive storm in Haymarket. Standing water on the grass bc it rained so hard and ground is so hard. Power has been out for about 30 minutes. A lot of sirens outside.

BlizzardNole
Managed 0.2 which is actually a decent rain for this extreme desert microclimate. It's the first measurable rain since August 7 and probably the last for a long time. The sprinkler system will run tomorrow morning as scheduled. It was basically sunny down here near the end of 15 when it rolled through for 10 minutes then moved on. It's the first rain in many many days, everything always misses us just slightly north (like 66/15)
