Today is Futility Friday.  Everything just to west.  Now watching and listening to another storm literally a 1/4 mile away.
Now safely nestled between storms just west and east of me.  Oh, joy.

Radar looks healthy…along with the humidity/pwat. This seems like a deeper trough than what we’ve dealt with most of the summer. Getting a nice sw flow. It’ll always be hit/miss, but I like the setup at least.

Pretty futile here lately. 0.23" since I returned on Aug 16. About 2.3" the first through the 15th of the month. Last Fall was especially colorful with the early chill/decent rainfall. Unless we get wet/cool pretty quickly, expecting dull/muted leaf color this Fall.
