Going to feel wintry for sure with highs in the mid 30s and blustery. Wednesday continued cold with same highs. So, when was this happening last November and December. I know I said earlier that the Pacific Ocean is not our friend, but you cannot deny how different this is compared to last year at this time. Even the 'big December warmup' that is common among Nino analogs looks muted at best. We should have a fair amount of chances this winter.

JTA66
It's officially transitioned into an all out flizzard. Edit: It's a car topper!
MsHeatMiser
Pretty sure this flizzard puts me over last season’s total already lol.

Hurricane Agnes
And flakes were flying while the sun was out! Getting SN- now.
Hurricane Agnes
Getting a flizzard. So far a car/roof/grass-topper. The walks are still relatively warm so it's melting on them. Temp down to 31 and pancakes are starting to mix in.
ChescoWx
This is the first measurable November snow in East Nantmeal in 5 years....the last measurable November snow was the 7.3" on Nov 15-16, 2018

Hurricane Agnes
Well that round is done and sun is back out. Got a trace/dusting (0.1") of what appeared to be rimed flakes and possibly graupel. Temp is 31 with dp 28.
KamuSnow
The cold underperformed a bit overnight, only got down to 30F, but had some flakes in the air here around 8:30, so that's a woo-hoo! Our first of the season! 34F currently.
The Iceman
On the board here in Levittown. Enough to whiten the ground so saying .1 instead of a trace. It was coming down good for a solid 5-10 mins though. Was a pleasant surprise this morning.
JTA66
The only thing that matters is whether PSU got anything. If not, might be time to go looking for the towel
RedSky
Slept through this, will I have to wait for February?
The Iceman
I think the 5-10th time period bares watching. Right now just successive rain events but those successive wave trains are how we can score early in the season. This is long range OP runs but verbatim the gfs is close to some white if that northern stream vort digs a bit further.

I think some of the pink passed over your area. That arctic air means business. Currently 36 but the dewpoint is down to 17 and has been continuing to slowly fall. The humidifier is starting to struggle.

ChescoWx
Following our 1st measurable snow "event" of the season this morning's low of 20.8 was our coldest reading since way back on February 4th when the low was 9.8 degrees above zero. A couple more colder than normal days will close out the Month of November and we will finish this November as the coldest one so far this decade with our chilliest since 2019. We should start a nice warming trend by the weekend with temps getting back to a little above normal but expect rain to move in on Friday afternoon but clear out by Saturday. There is a chance at more rain by Sunday night. Records for today: High 68 (1991) / Low 10 (1930) / Rain 2.84" (1987) / Snow 3.7" (1995)
JTA66
Both 12z Euro and GFS are trying with next week's clipper. Wouldn't be much if it did happen, but having a clipper producing flakes in the air is something we haven't seen in quite some time. 1
