ChescoWx
Today will be our 15th straight below normal day across Chester County. Dreary chilly weather returns later today through early Saturday AM. The heaviest rain looks to stay east of Chesco but up to a 0.50" of rain can't be ruled out especially in eastern spots. The Sun returns on Sunday and we begin a nice warming trend for the first week of October. However, signs point to that being short lived as some chillier weather looks likely to move back in during the 2nd week of the 10th month! Records for today: High 87 (1921) / Low 30 (1947) / Rain 2.97" (2004)
The Iceman
Looks like the heaviest rain will stay in NJ looking across the 12z models. Only the 12k NAM gets 1-2" totals into SE PA. The euro has barely anything.

Hurricane Agnes
With the rare sun out yesterday, I topped out at 66 yesterday. And with a low of 52 this morning, I made it up to 63, with overcast all day (I understand some areas briefly had sun but not here). Currently overcast and 61 with dp 58 and stuff backing in off the ocean thanks to zombie Ophelia feeding some offspring. Meanwhile TS Philippe and Rina are getting it on in the central Atlantic. Albedoman
anyone west of quakertown nothing. I have had less than .10 in the entire event- drizzle thats it. The south mountain range upsloping is destroying any rain to the west- physical geography doing a number on rainfall totals. I hate these hybrid storm events. KamuSnow
Monthly total rainfall for September here is 5.71". That includes 0.27" of drizzle since Tuesday, that's a lot of drizzle. About 0.07" of that was yesterday. Saw sunshine about 30 minutes ago, and there are a couple of small blue holes in the clouds. Gonna have to get out the sunglasses (hopefully). Cloudy today but the sun returns tomorrow with a nice run of rare above normal days for most of the work week. A turn to chillier weather looks to be likely by next weekend with even some 30's and some lower elevation frost possible in about 2 weeks time.
