An automated weather station at Perry Airport recently reported a sustained wind of 62 mph (100 km/h) with a gust to 85 mph (137 km/h) within the past hour. A Florida Coastal Monitoring Program tower located near Perry, Florida, recently reported a wind gust of 81 mph (130 km/h).
