OK thanks. Didn't realize that existed actually - I just have the Mid-Atlantic and SE forums bookmarked.
Ernest T Bass
I shouldn't have complained about missing the rain over the last couple of weeks. We got pounded with probably the worst storm of the summer. Lightening took out a TV and some outdoor lights. Oh well, at least it wasn't worse than that. Shack
75 and muggy this early morn. And, just now, my weather radio just went off to tell me that my county(Bibb) had been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning.

marsman
.41" from Idalia. Small twigs in the yard, no problem for the lawnmower. Hoping to go below 60 the next two nights and maybe even have a fire!
yotaman
So far we have received 4.10" from Idalia. Still some light rain and drizzle around. Winds gusted into the mid 30's this morning. They are slowly calming down now. Temp is a nice cool 70 just before noon. Edit: Ended up with 4.15" from Idalia. Sun has come out and the temp is a beautiful 72.

We usually get that once or twice a year when the dew point is already in the low 80's and a brief shower comes thru and immediately afterward the sun comes out. Absolutely miserable when that happens.
