TheNiño
Seems strange they didn’t push the watch to the lakefront counties. Maybe they will extend it later or just hoist warnings for them if necessary.

sbnwx85
Interesting set up out here. Remnants from the early convention never totally cleared out. It got up to 90 but the at-home thermometer is down to 84. Overcast and a clam wind. Storms trying to fire along and south of US 30 in Indiana.

Malacka11
I think I'm just baked but this little DuPage cell has some supercell-esque updraft presentation in person, I wish I could get a picture of the entire thing but I'm too close.

Harry Perry
Looks like the HRRR sniffed out something, but looks like garbage over this way for tonight. Wonder what the next SPC outlook will look like. Almost looks as though storms are firing along the higher dew point gradient from N IL points southeast into Indiana. Dare I say… this mornings bullshit in Indiana forked SWMI once again by working over the atmosphere creating a rather large cold-pool, and only slowly advanced that cold-pool NE into the area while better untapped air pushed into northern Indiana? Time will tell. Already cooling off here @79° and clear skies.
