nwohweather
A lot of downed trees around Toledo, definitely delivered with widespread damaging winds. ChasingClouds
Received an alert that there are multiple downed powerlines in the Huron River near Ann Arbor. Haven't got a chance to check out the damage. Was surprised to hear the tornado siren go off. It was probably the right call given the STW was calling for 80+ mph winds. nwohweather
Man the atmosphere is really recovering quickly. Ample shear & helicity to the east of current warnings in SE MI, lets just see if we can continue to build up. My house is currently at 75 degrees with a dewpoint of 75. Torchageddon
I knew when it was overcast for most of the aft and the temp was dropping hours before the storms arrived that my energy would be squandered. I surprisingly got some minor power flickers a hour ago but its basically just a gentle thunder shower . Very slow onset, no dark skies, dead calm. Yesterday's forecast output may not have been glue-sniffed after all. I'm not complaining.

Chicago Storm
6 hours ago, Chicago Storm said: It’s a race of time right now. A potent MCV continues steadily moving east across S WI. The window of opportunity is fairly short though, before the MCV moves too far east. Shall see how it goes here over the next two hours or so, but a solid environment for severe t'storms is advecting back in, in the wake of the early round of activity. And not surprisingly, nothing happened. Timing on the passage of the MCV was just not optimal, a few hours too early.

There were some very disorganized clusters with occasional CG lightning about 3-4 miles south and east. Just downpours and soft rumbles from tiny cells right here. Similar to what has happened previously. Wanting CGs close enough to see is not the same as wanting an EF5. Ugh.

Judging by how widespread the rain and storms were there in GRR's area I have a hard time believing you didn't get a good thunderstorm
