Vinny Findley
Probably over 3" here in Cranston. The rain gauge on my weather station stopped reporting at .63 in the first batch of heavy rain. Pumped about an 1 1/2 out of the pool after it stopped. Sun started to break through for a bit. This last batch the water level is even higher and still raining moderately. Some more heavy rain to the south. Looks to be mostly east of here. Maybe get grazed by it.
bristolri_wx
This stream of precip goes all the way back to the Jersey coast. Gonna be real messy with this frontal boundary taking its time moving east. That whole blob may end up in RI and SE MA over next several hours. Probsbly will get to 2.5 or so I know what you mean with sim radar, but sometimes good ole fashioned radar tells a different story. Pattern recognition helps too. It was a corridor of high PWATS along a front. That usually means it ‘gon rain.

Raining now but was able to get some golf in between 6:30 and 8:00. Water just pouring out of everywhere at the course.
