I know you were pessimistic when you came on early today and pointed out that radar wasn't looking encouraging for our area. Nice call.

Was hopeful that the PWATS could save us but we really couldn’t get anything to develop south of us. It is what it is, happy the lawns came back to life with this pattern.

I think the flood watch for Long Island can be dropped.

It was the kiss of death. I don’t recall a stretch of failed forecasts for our nape of the neck

The City and LI may pick up more rain than NE NJ. I am getting scraped by the heavier rain just to my east.

I mentioned earlier today that someone would be jumped. .10” so far in wantagh.
a secondary screw zone seems to be centered around mid town Manhattan. And this is a reoccurring situation. Brooklyn, queens and the Bronx do well while mid town seems to repel convection. I believe it has to do with the extreme urban environment

It’s been bad. Convection always hard but it’s been a rough summer to make plans so far.

It rained though and parts of Upton's forecast area did receive 2"+ Upton's forecast area isn't just your backyard

You realize Upton basically covers LI?
