I was out in that area yesterday. Would never expect they’d be the area to get nailed on LI. Looks like ISP ended with 0.49”. I probably ended with something similar-just two moderate showers early and the period of moderate rain around 11pm.

There were training cells in that area.  My station on Fire Island has a storm total of 1.48” so I may have caught the NW edge of that band out there.

You look at the map? Only a ten mile wide area got smoked. The island 120 miles long. And nobody who lives out there posts on here regularly

Epic bust here models had 3-4 inches...we got about .30   Can't make it up....:lol:  RGEM pulled the plug on the 18z run but others still had the big totals
