Does MD have something similar? Statewide mesonet is in process. We're currently selecting sites statewide and hopefully will be getting physical stations jn the ground in the next 10 to 14 months.

CAPE
Moderate rain here. Dover radar is down but it looks like some heavier stuff is on the doorstep. It appears the areas SE of here that got pummeled this morning might be in line for more.
nw baltimore wx
I’m surprised but LWX up the ante for me for this afternoon going with 70% chance of rain, and even using the phrase heavy rain. Up from 40% earlier. I guess they are invested in the line the hrrr had forming.

adelphi_sky
I keep getting these alerts from Radarscope about heavy rain and tornado threats. But later in the day it never really pans out in my neighborhood. I mean not looking forward to tornados. But rain would be nice. The mosquito population is thin. hehe
CAPE
A dark and rainy July day here. Not exactly what I had envisioned from the forecast. 1.45" and still light to moderate rain falling.

CAPE
Back edge finally moving through. 1.65". Very little runoff, so a nice event here. Pretty surprised based on guidance 24 hours ago. 4.75" for the month.
87storms
Turned out to be partly cloudy here. More humid than I expected. Maybe the front can squeeze out a surprise storm for Frederick, though I’m not counting on it. Pretty impressive bust for this area. Flood watch hoisted and prob got less than 0.1” total the last 3 days lol.

BlizzardNole
Just looked at some dreary web cams from OC MD. I would have gladly taken their rainy day for them, but we don't do rainy days here in summer, ever. We do soaking rain and 33 in winter just great, but summer here is so arid. Watching the 4PM football games and then getting triggered by the ticking stopwatch of “60 Minutes” sucks. 1
