It’s been a while since I’ve been to a country show but a decade or so ago we went on a country bender and went to several shows… I still have never seen more alcohol consumed than at a country music festival or concert.

I was tongue-in-cheek over this in the climate forum ... um, who decided 160 is 'considered the upper limit' ?

I don't doubt there is an upper limit but 160 is used to slow smoke-roast a full bird turkey. Jeesh.

...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of New London,
Middlesex and northeast Suffolk Counties through 515 PM EDT...

At 414 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near East Haddam to near Mattituck. Movement
was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Norwich, New London, Southold, Clinton, Old Saybrook, Mattituck,
Salem, Chester, Plum Island, Waterford, East Lyme, East Haddam,
Haddam, Old Lyme and Westbrook.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
