dendrite
I still can’t believe I haven’t had a low below 60° yet this month. I average upper 50s.

moneypitmike
I was awakened at midnight by a storm here at Pit2. Came down to watch a fantastic show. It's quite a different vantage point when you have a mile of unobstructed ground level view (i.e.,water level).

backedgeapproaching
Crazy amount of water coming down the hillsides in the Eastern Adirondacks last night. Wish I knew what the amounts are on radarscope storm accum estimate scale. Feels like 3-6" by duration and intensity in about 2 hours. Multiple culverts and parts of roads washed out where we are. Stuck for now until they get filled in.

Yes, the HRRR does show development after midnight, that’s true. It also shows it continuing into the afternoon. 1

dan11295
12z NAM/NAM Hi-Res and HRRR all show a SW-NE band of of 4-5"+ in Western/Central Mass. in particular. Hopefully the higher end numbers on e.g. HRRR are overdone, though with high PWATS and any kind of training totals could add up fast.
rimetree
82/77 steam bath. Whatever we get tomorrow seems to have a lot of potential moisture to work with.
CT Rain
Could be a pretty significant flood event tomorrow for someone in SNE based on the 12z runs. Can't rule out a tornado either if some areas destabilize event given the strong low level shear.
