Surprised you’re not all over the Monday twister threat . You seem to miss the easy ones

Haven’t looked at models since Friday and wasn’t looking in depth at a local level. Might be a better threat for strong storms central/northern New England though

That marine puke never went away for inland areas east of here. It's now marching ominously back in like a wall of doom and it's looking like it never goes away at all tomorrow for places on the wrong side of the mountain divide well inland from here.

Today has been much cooler than yesterday due to onshore flow I am guessing, since FIT was stuck with similar overcast conditions for the morning but still managed upper 80s. Upper 70s here, dewpoints still up there though. Going to guess our next chance at sun will be Wednesday, based on similar past events this sludge will be slow to budge.

Still managed 81F here somehow despite the marine puke

Oh good, My neighbors are celebrating the 8th of July with fireworks..

Looks like you'll be mowing at 6:30 tomorrow morning

My dad used to do that to me when he knew I was out late and likely hungover as a teenager. He'd also change the mowing pattern. Instead of doing one part at a time he just keep circling the house. No way in hell was getting any sleep.

Feels higher here than earlier in the day but I'm 60 miles from the shore.

I think it's mostly a Maine thing. I can definitely feel a difference outside tonight versus the previous several evenings. IZG dp is 66, PWM 64, AUG 66. Getting a lot of marine intrusion, the whole of Androscoggin county was socked in with it all day under low overcast like a May gray or June gloom day in the LA basin. The high is far enough offshore that we're having to deal with these issues now. We probably won't clear out until Wednesday.

Yep, 66/64 with thick fog.  Mid-winter stillness in sound, late spring in sight, and feels like a mid-summer-on-an-island night in Penobscot bay.

These 6z Mesos are a problem.

This is Irene levels of issues in the most susceptible tight narrow terrain/hills/mtns of central and eastern VT. Roads and towns follow water through narrow valleys and hollows.

6z HRRR pretty widespread 5-8”.

6z 3km NAM is like villages off the grid for a while.  Can’t dump 5-10” into that terrain given how there’s already been hydro problems.

Good chance there’s not a bridge left in VT come Monday evening

BTV is very concerned. This some pretty strong language.
