Chance it spills into Sat in ern areas.

Think Saturday also has pop up showers and storms region wide within the warm sector. Thursday night and Friday I think is pretty concerning with rain/flooding potential. Saturday night a bit concerning too as next system approaches.

Yeah this weekend is not going to be very pleasant overall from a dry weather perspective. We're pretty much influenced by the RFQ of a strong ulvl jet and we'll see numerous pieces of shortwave energy rotating through. There is another surge of very high PWATS too Saturday night.

Why does anyone like high dew points?  High dew points just killed my basement dehumidifier.  High dew points are stressing my air conditioners and making them run less efficiently.  High dew points mean you start sweating within a few minutes of being outside from doing normal things like walking and breathing if you are in regular/normal physical shape.  High dew points affect the elderly and those with breathing issues even more.  Days like today are great and I even understand people that like the record heat but high dew points are just total shit.  Like sewage treatment plant total shit.

Shit.

Probably off topic, but is there a recommended rain gauge type/model/manufacturer people use? I've got mine as about out in the open as I can, but I'm now a little suspicious of that 6.05" I had reported here, given that the highest official reporting I can find for my area is around 4.5". I am on the very west end of Bradford and right at the base of the east slope of Mount Sunapee, but I'm not sure that would be enough to bump me up that much?

death valley going 130 now

Saturday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 100.
Sunday
Sunny and hot, with a high near 130.

Lol. A thirty degree diurnal swing and low is still triple digits. Special place. Hard to believe people run a 135 mile ultramarathon through there.
