It is nice to get a break from the humidity this weekend. Today will be our 7th straight (but last) below normal day with highs topping out in the low to mid 80's. Temps should reach the 90's starting Wednesday for many areas in the county. In fact we could see our first "heat wave" (3 consecutive days over 90) since July 19-21, 2020. In fact in the last 20 years we have only recorded 10 "heat waves" in total here in Chesco! This heat will be short lived as the pattern will shift again by next weekend and we look to go back to near normal to below pattern through the first 10 days of August. I've had a bloody Mary and a goose island IPA, watching formula 1 racing with my fellow morning drinking degenerates bonding over the hellscape that air travel has become. I heard one tale where the story almost gave me PTSD, let alone living it. That man was drinking bourbon neat. I don't blame him. My mood is much better however.
