Lots of clouds and 84 approaching noon - close enough to 90 at this time of the day to get there, but I'm wondering if there will be enough sun to pull it off.

We are really far apart today.   72 here.    The 80's do not start in earnest until near the river.

The latest HRRR is a big bag of fail for rain in most of the LSV today.  Hope it is off its rocker like it often is....but other mesos's are not arguing much with it.

The sky here is MUCH different than yesterday at this time, when there were huge towers going up everywhere. Sky yesterday was "gurgling" - right now, it's mostly veils of high and mid level cloudiness. Just doesn't look like there is much upward motion...currently.

I'm surprised that the NW'ly flow is so strong. Seems like the front has pressed more than modeling figured yesterday.

Not many suites show severe today anymore....3K still did at 12Z.

I had the same thoughts. Not feeling it today.

@Bubbler86 - that 79 degree reading that MDT posted for their 2pm obs...at LNS it was 88 at the same time. There was an area of very light precip but extensive cloud cover that was over the river area for a few hours during the midday - it was mostly clear east of that. That area of cloudiness has moved off so it'll be interesting to see what MDT reports shortly...

Still in the 70's here.  Heat surge in the far SE.
