Well today looks like the day of the long awaited hopefully significant rain. There are still some big differences in the models with the GFS spitting out only about 0.25" of rain all the way up to the NAM soaking us with over 3" of much needed rain. Fingers and toes crossed we all see some liquid gold today!
The rest of the week looks like near to slightly below normal temps and dry.
Records for today: High 95 (1914) / Low 42 (1979) / Rain 2.36" (1968)

I don't see this happening but would be a major fail. 0.25" won't make a dent in the bucket...

Got home from work early today. I'm in my downstairs office and just sneezed my head off. My wife heard it upstairs and this conversation ensued:

We've only got .15" so far today. I'm not really superstitious, but come on. I bought a new snowblower and it didn't snow. I bought a new rain barrel and it didn't rain for a month. What gives?

Maybe it's something local or someone burning leaves but smelling wildfire smoke here again in Ivyland.

Looks like some cells off to our SW. Junk and stuff headed this way.

Smells like smoke here too I think it's smoke flavored rain
