I have water in my basement for the first time since we moved here almost 3 years ago. It's just seeping from a crack in the wall, but still. We live on a hill, and it didn't do that when that tropical storm dumped 5" on us so I thought we were in the clear. I guess that 3" we received on Friday plus today's rain is what it takes to do that. Good to know... Good to know...

Just now, Hurricane Agnes said:

I was wondering where you were:yikes:.  Like 2/3rds of Berks has been under that.

I'm currently at 81 with dp 75 and overcast.  Most of the stuff has stayed west of here.

Busy doing meal prep for a week of travel to lovely Newark. That radar does not bode well. Going to start prepping for any possible power outages/water main breaks.

Which Newark?  There are 2 of them in 2 different states (and pronounced differently to boot) in or near the CWA!

And yeah, if that doesn't break up and move on, you also  may end up with trees uprooting and falling on wires - even if there was not much wind.  I noticed the motion had started west -> east earlier but then started going south -> north, but it keeps back-building over the Reading area.

I am getting dry slotted! Look at the dry slot in action from west chester north to pottstown to lehigh county. Hopefully the action moves in from the west to break up the historically dry summer here.

Ugh.  Hope it moves out of there and starts to drain before you have to go...

Torrential downpour from a cell popping up over northern Bucks

Have been watching that moving up from the south.  KYW had NIBC 10's Justin Godynick on who mentioned that so far, there was nothing in Jersey but it was coming as the complex slowly moves east.
