Today the tippy bucket only moved once. So I go from 1.00" Sunday to 0.01" on Monday. The only good news is that being under the upper low has kept the smoke away for a day or two. outflow
Its the monotony of this pattern that is the worst, it's like living the same day over and over. Hell, I'd take a 55 degree cold light all day rain every few days just for a change of pace. 1

fluoronium
It's been a month since I've had a good rain, and the near term looks bleak. Smoky skies have become the norm. Starting to relate to this...
CheeselandSkies
I was out and about in rural southern Wisconsin (away from Madison, where everybody has been constantly watering for the last 5 weeks at least) today and most of the grass is totally brown. We had two, maybe three weeks at the most of nice spring green this year.

Brian D
Looking at my modelling method, it looks like off n on chances of precip the next 6-7 weeks with Aug looking like the best month for sustained chances. Not looking for summer to extend too far into Sept either. Labor day week looks very Fallish. Sept has a drier feel as well. So we shall see how this pans. Precip is a fickle beast that can be rather hard to cast.
