87storms
The smoky haze will make its return later today and likely be around through at least tomorrow.Another reason why I’m ready for a southerly flow to return. I want swamp-like humidity and afternoon storms.
WxUSAF
Starting to get some consensus on rain chances next Monday-Tuesday. Strong trough in the Lakes with a low passing to our west can be productive for storms as well. 2

Roger Ramjet
I've lived here most of my life and just turned 60. I can never remember it being this dry this early! Without a quick reversal, I think we are in trouble!

MN Transplant
No real response from the air quality sensors so it is very likely aloft tonight. Doesn’t mean that it will stay that way, however.

Without a quick reversal, I think we are in trouble! And not just a lack of precip, but actually dry. Very blocky pattern right now. This is up there with one of the worst pollen seasons I can remember as well. We had a legit drought during one of the summers around 2000ish which included some water restrictions or guidelines. This is getting to that point.

George BM
Okay, this is some of the thickest smoke aloft that I've seen here thus far. The sun is still relatively dark and deep orange/pink two hours after sunrise.
