87storms
Bout to get something. Wow, first thunder all year. Looked a lot more impressive on radar. 1 flash of lightning and some moderate rain. Another batch out west that may come through, but clearly radar is overdoing intensity. Certainly better than nothing. That line is right on my doorstep. Breeze picking up. katabatic
0.75" on the nose this morning. Hoping it continues to make it over the hills in one piece - sending everyone downstream some good juju.
WxUSAF
Line is redeveloping in northern Carroll and Frederick counties. But does that suck juice away from its southern end?
87storms
Getting some light rain here, but radar has the look of a thirsty Blue Ridge.

Wxtrix
a couple loud rumbles of thunder (which woke up the cats who were then mad at me for some reason) and .26” of needed rain.

Lots of orange on radar, but nothing more than 3 rumbles of thunder and moderate rain. .39", so can't complain too much. And it's 60F at 10:30. Nice morning. Watching the scraps approach now in Leesburg, mountains definitely let the air out of this balloon. Right at 2” since Monday. Farmers will be thrilled, they were way behind coming into the week.

NorthArlington101
It’s too bad that the smoke is really bad for our health, because if that wasn’t the case I’d be strongly rooting for its return so we could have something interesting happen

weatherCCB
Yet another fail. when / if we get hot drought will really start showing itself. Only saving grace has been the cool weather.

I've had 1.89" in MLP in the same timeframe...agreed that the agri businesses were really beginning to hurt. Glad you got in on the goods. My husband works at Wisp and he said it was briefly pretty intense this morning. Just wish it was area wide.

high risk
The HRRR has been quite emphatic that this morning line would crap out as it arrived (with redevelopment to our east-northeast); it still really likes the idea of a more significant round 2 later this afternoon (although it verbatim screws the crew along I-70).

Kmlwx
Temp of 63.7 here and a dewpoint sub-60. Doesn't scream severe risk - should get some juicier air perhaps in the wake of the morning crap-'vection' if you can call it that locally.
