This might be related to late season changes to the PV. Significant negative AO and NAO at times plus we have had +PNA as well. I will take it. Feels great.

Maybe some smoky haze, but nothing like what it was last week.

87storms
Imo, this pattern is as anomalous as the 09/10 HECS pattern we had. We’ve had stretches of low dews in previous summers, but this is remarkable stuff. The condensation on my beverages has been mostly non-existent all season lol. Jrlg1181
Moormans River near White Hall/Browns Cove in western Albemarle county just after it joins with the nearly bone dry Doyle's River - which makes up a good chunk of the Rivanna River... I was born and raised in this area , I have seen the water this low but always between August and Halloween, never this early in the year...

stormy
The WPC challenges both the GFS and ECM by giving the Valley at least an inch of rain next week. The GFS gives .06" and the ECM gives .07".

EastCoast NPZ
Bout to get something. Wow, first thunder all year. Looked a lot more impressive on radar. 1 flash of lightning and some moderate rain. Another batch out west that may come through, but clearly radar is overdoing intensity. Certainly better than nothing.
