Storms all around, but not a drop here today.

Indeed. If I didn't know better, I'd say this radar screencap from a few minutes ago looked like a classic wintertime dry slot. :D  Grey/black skies on either side of us, sunny overhead...we had some light showers around lunchtime but that's about it. Humidity is bad enough to slice like fudge. Time to stop worrying about the rain and/or storms and have an IPA...  ;)

Absolutely dumping in N. Bethesda.  I picked up an inch in the last 15 minutes, and it's still coming down hard.  Up to 1.8 for the day.

Up to 3.3 for the day, and over 2.5 inches in the last 50 minutes.  This has been one of the more impressive hour-long rains I've seen.

HoCo force field in full effect. I actually would like these storms to pass on through as I'll be at Merriweather for the Weezer concert. Luckily decided on seats and not lawn!

Wooooow....Weezer. I'd much rather see them than the next concert my good wife is dragging me to in early Aug....Eric Church.  :/

This heavy stuff is training NNE with the cutoff like 5 miles away.  Just comical

Feeling you on this. We had a semi-steady, decently soaking rain at points yesterday...but I wouldn't mind getting under some of those returns for the sod I planted about six weeks ago.

It's been comical over here all day. Uncanny. Maybe Monday!

In other news, this old fashioned is tasty.

Okay...you had me at "old fashioned." I've known this for awhile, but you have impeccably good taste in beer...and mixed drinks.  ;)

This is so pathetic, esp after the epic tornado dream I had last night(have had hundreds). Just like all the others, there was this moment where I thought to myself, it's really happening this time- it isn't just a dream. Ofc, it was.
