Mines going the other way. Was a 13 at one point and now I’m almost at 18. Biggest mistake this year was that I tweaked my back but kept trying to play through it. Then one day I buried my club into the ground. Club stopped but I kept going. Really felt something in my back. Had to put away the clubs for 3 weeks. I’ve started to gingerly play a little in the last week or so. The bright side is that I’ve really enjoyed my season at a new golf course. I was a 13 and made the mistake of trying to play through a hip injury, my handicap shot up. Finally got the hip replaced and I'm still struggling to get my swing back, need to spend some time at the range and hit a lot of balls before next year starts.
