The stuff that completes a life, bucket lists etc. The stories my wife’s parents told me when they were still alive about their experiences storms was absolutely thrilling and exhilarating. I’m not even being greedy.. I will accept a strong cat 1 or weak 2 up the CTRV.. The tropical storms we’ve had recently were nice and fun.. but we need to experience 75-80+ gusts . I’ll keep tracking and waiting and hoping . No other choice unfortunately You could always move to a cane prone area. Just won’t be able to get insurance

Because records don't go back far enough, we may never know if 1938 New England Hurricane was a once in 1000 year storm. I know there was a great 17th century New England hurricane but different track than 38 based on reports that we have.

Wildfires, epic floods, and canes.

hurricaneman
Possibly Maine landfall this run, hoping for no more west shifts as that would be ugly for eastern New England if that happens

George001
This is starting to get interesting. I haven’t really checked the models much over the past couple of days, but since I last time I looked the low location is more west than it was last time I looked. I don’t think a SNE landfall is likely, but the risk of the storm getting close enough to give us a lot of rain is increasing.

Outflow reestablished, deep convection over a more symmetrical center, strong rotation around the center with a lightning burst.
