Worst El Nino ever. So dry.

Lol, I feel like this is still a La Niña pattern, though it makes me very happy to see a cutoff low in the south as opposed to a meandering GL low. Maybe it’ll help reel in a more active southern stream.

The upper ridge and sprawling surface HP to the north of the closed h5 low will likely keep most of the precip south/east of our region this weekend. That will make those who have outdoor plans happy, but the dryness will continue.

Tough to beat this weather. I started HH early with an old fashioned while sitting on the glider of my front porch. Perfect breeze for some soft wind chimes.

I can't remember another April-May that has been nicer than this in...ever?

Waking up to low 50s and getting into the mid 70s or so is about as glorious as one can ask for.

Next week some spots in Canada going 20 degrees above normal. Heat moves South into the Northern US.  Crazy,  meanwhile no rain as area of rainfall stays SE of us mostly, soil ground getting harder and harder.

i was gonna say - this is probably the nicest spring I've ever experienced.  It's like we relocated to San Diego for two months.
