When will (did) you install/ turn on the AC this year?

Still haven’t installed the window unit upstairs. Did have to put in the portable AC downstairs for Thursday and Friday for the other people living here lol.

I have central air, BTW, but I counted that as "turning it on" in June.

Installed a couple weeks back when we had the 80 degree day(s) but haven't run them much. We have chinchillas and they have to be kept under 75 degrees. They're a great pet to have as an excuse to keep the house cool.

I have not had the heat on since prior to the "heat" in april.

Was away last weekend, so when we got home Sunday the house was a chilly 59.  Heat on to get it somewhat comfortable, but otherwise has been off since early May.

obviously no install AC yet.  Only hit 90 once, but have yet to have any lows >56 degrees, so absolutely no need for it.

We ran the heat pump for cooling for a couple hours on 6/2, been running the woodstove ever since.

Warmed up nicely for a short while when the sun came out, back to a bit chilly. For some reason my brother's one of those guys that won't install his AC until he's dripping sweat watching TV. He has one of those portable ones that you just need to vent out the window, takes 5 minutes.

I thought you welcomed dews. Feels good on the skin, right?  

No need to install here for the foreseeable future. Once overnight lows are forecasted for the 60s, I'll install.  Maybe.

60s for lows, ~80 for highs, running the fan will suffice and its quieter and lots cheaper.
