It had to have been filled to the brim with those foam peanuts because they got picked up and for a second it looked like a mini blizzard, snow globe style! A guy across the road was grabbing his bin and just shook his head. We definitely heard a tree fall around 2055 or so. It was roaring and I checked and can't see but I'm in no hurry to walk around 100' trees to look for it! Widowmaker danger in full force tonight!

Yeah this has been our biggest wind event here since March 2018. Lost power for a bit too. I was skeptical of the High Wind Warnings when issued, but it’s definitely verified here! The strength of the wind gusts tonight probably tied March 2018 intensity-wise... legit.
87storms
White knuckle driving home from Columbia. Was on 70 crossing the Patapsco and was blown sideways into the lane next to me, thankfully no one was there. Phew. It was pretty interesting driving my Jeep up 270 from Olney a little while ago. Right into the wind. My balcony furniture hasn’t blown to the side yet, so not sure how to rate this event. The one a couple weeks was probably worse up here…at least so far. Very glad no one was there when you got blown sideways. Scary at times! Worst moment for me was having to suddenly dodge a mattress (?) mangled mattress/thing (?) on 95. Likewise, thankfully I had room. Getting through the stretches of elevated highway around Balt/Ft. McH tunnel also was no bueno. The way down 4-5 pm was pretty chill but did drive through narrow line with lightning in it.
