Thunder with rain on the west side of Columbia. Just thunder at my house. Hopefully those cells rotate through.

Several strikes basically right on top of my house. That storm was impressive from a T&L standpoint. That storm down by Clarksville looks very impressive as well.

Looks like an in-between fail here. Nice convection firing just to my northeast in N central DE, and the stuff to the west looks like it will miss to my NW. That 3/4" deluge a week ago Thursday is a distant memory. Dry as a bone with the +15 to 20F departures, wind, and relatively low humidity of late. Only good news is skeeters have no chance to get going. Been many years since my seasonal wetland was this dry in Spring.

Just got home from an early shift at the brewery and I knew it had rained, but I was shocked to see 1.65” in the gauge. Up to 2.16” for the “event.”

"Always a surprise under an upper low".

Your area is one of the few 'haves' with this one. My sis lives in Glyndon and had a hell of a hailstorm, after getting some heavy rain this morning.

Yeah, @Scraff was at the brewery where I was working today, and though I didn’t see it, he said the storm started as hail.
