He said he's upping it further tomorrow morning.

Its actually not all that conservative because he was going for trace-1" and 1-3" at 6 PM lol

And he said he was leaning more towards one foot rather than 6 inches-- and potential to trend upward again tomorrow morning because all models were showing 1" + QPF

Can anyone get surface temps from the Euro for the Delmarva for me? I'd appreciate it!

at hr 36 they are in the 30s above freezing. By hr 42 once steadier precip comes into the area they wet bulb down to 32 or below...the southern pt of delmarva and beaches go to 32 or below last...by hr 48 everyone is at or below frz

For SBY during the height of the storm suface temps are +.9 and +.4 so 34 and 33 respectively, the last 6 hours of snow they drop below freezing. Probably a very wet snow but its probably snow at those temps.

very wet snow + high winds may cause some power problems

BWI: 10"-12"

PHL: 10"-15"

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ: 10"-12"

NYC: 12"-15"

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (35 MILES NORTH OF NYC): 17"-20"

BOSTON, MASS: 10"-12"

I feel like the HPC is entering Baghdad Bob territory. But then again I certainly understand the need to play it safe. It'll be interesting to see how long they continue to sing the same tune.
