54f now. Looks like we break out 1:45-2:00pm.

57f 12 minutes later. Love having an online station now. Will be at the in laws in Windsor for the rest of the day, but can still track temps here. Father-in-law just had hip replacement. Super active guy, so he's taken it really well. Going to hang out and watch the Final Four.

Hopefully I can chase later. Have to go to New Britain to my niece's birthday party. I'm pumped the Bruins play at 3:00 too...can go after the game.

Full sun here on this west side of the Hudson. 66/57.  We’ll see what happens later. Have to watch for those decrete cells before the front.

Severe threat continues, though the worst of the impacts will be
felt well to our SE. Instability will begin to wain after sunset
as the anticipated convective line approaches southern New
England. The best threat for damaging wind gusts or a spin up
tornado remain west of Worcester and across CT.

SE?  Wain?  Box drunk today

Quite the change in sensible weather over the course of my walk. I left under thick overcast and temps in the mid-fifties. By the time I got back an hour later, we have full sun and it is downright sticky. Low clouds are racing north. It sure feels like a dynamic atmosphere. If the calendar said May 1st, I'd be pretty encouraged for the some big time weather. Possibly foreshadowing, I walked by cars with "EML" and "MDT" on their license plates.
