Weather station in Woodbury hit 90. Hempstead 89. Sea breeze is pushing inland (Amityville down to 75) so maybe we have 1-2 more degrees to rise before that makes it to the north shore. Most stations around here are 86-88.

Huge split between Long Beach where it’s 62-63 and Oceanside/Baldwin where it’s 82-83. That’s a 10-15 minute drive. 

I love that haha, it would also be funny if Oceanside got a foot of snow and Long Beach got less than an inch lol.

Well, the Park made it to 90 for the second consecutive day. There could be an outside shot at 90 around the 23rd but I really think the next one is during May.

wow that's amazing, they're still rising on a southerly wind...Tony I saw that JFK achieved a record high also, but got no higher than 85?  And LGA?

I can think of a few times where School 5 had a snow day but Boardman didn't, couldn't give you dates because 40 years...

We had that once when I was growing up in south wantagh. The high school is up by the southern state. Rain in south wantagh sleet/snow a few miles north.

Something I've noticed about the sea breeze is the temperature experiences a jump just before the sea breeze comes in.  It's almost like a temperature rise just before a cold front passes.  And after the sea breeze comes through the sky clears out-- also similar to a cold front passage.
