Ed, snow and hurricane fan
Jim Cantore with a large oak in Housatonic onto a driveway with cars. Jim showed rot on the tree, people w/ car damage might have wanted to cut the tree down. Not much wind, just snow. Edit- also bad luck, that looks very rural and the one tree that could hit the cars, did.
Thunderblizzard
Keeps alternating between solid moderate snow and practically flurries in like 15 second intervals. Strange.

tamarack
Had non-accumulating light snow 10-noon, nothing since except the wind exercising the trees, echoes getting farther and farther away from here. Can't recall ever getting only a trace from a warned storm (forecast here was 5-9) but there's still many hours in which to avoid a first time. wxmanmitch
27.3" as of 2 pm. Getting difficult to measure because of blowing and drifting. Snow consistency has definitely dried out some compared to earlier, so it's very fluffy. Just puking dendrites, 28° F.

Radar is disjointed at the moment. We're counting on the low retrograding to get some better rates before it occludes... light-moderate won't do anything with these temps. We'll see. I'm hoping for at least a whitened ground.
