Wind is howling from east. I don't understand as I should not be shadowed in this wind direction It's probably subsidence...we have the heavy lift going in N MA and S NH. You really can't have an area of lift with out an area of subsidence

They were shocked to hear how much we had. And 7 1/2 is a fairly conservative estimate. I'm at 15" here, 3 miles away and 1000' lower is at 2"

weathafella
White rain now with increasing but still pedestrian rates. We’re in between 2 big bands-just beyond reach of the one to my south but as I write perhaps rates are showing a trend to increase.

Eskimo Joe
If this storm had occurred just a week or two earlier, it would've been a totally different story for so many. Still, you are at least getting a solid event at the end of winter. I'm loving the pictures.
Snugharbor
Sitting in the dryslot in coastal RI. Sun now punching its way out with pedestrian SE wind, 39 degrees. Hasn't even rained since mid morning. Enjoying all of your reports at least!! 1

ROOSTA
Primary Center seems to be tracking farther E then models depicted. The secondary xtension can still be observed in the Satellite presentation. Suspect that is slowing change-over and not consolidating banding. Every storm like a fingerprint: No two are exactly the same.

backedgeapproaching
9.7" on .74" LE at 1pm measure. 20.2" so far. Still pounding. Power off and on 5 times at least. Anything over 20" goes into all timer status in this valley. Getting deep for the lowlands.
