Robert -- I'm at 31.5, but the snowfall rate really isn't very heavy, despite decent looking returns. At this rate, it's going to take me all night to see an inch.

congrats on seeing it on the ground today. I'm not going to now, for sure. Its about dark, and still all rain. What a tight gradient! I was expecting to see good snow falling during the daylight hours here, but thats not going to happen.

Freaking crazy man!!!! damn

The radar really looking to be blowing up and starting to pivot around this area. Man I hope it continues all night....

Nice Mark. This has been a frustrating one so far here. For the last hour theres been a few flakes mixed in, but it never goes even halfway over to snow, still all again. Just proves snow totals around here are risky for sure. I'm still hoping to get 3" or so out of this.

I'm all rain still at darkfall. I thought a few minutes ago I was changing over. This was totally unexpected by me. I'm lowering my expectations for my immediate area.

That is pretty amazing considering ground is almost covered here in Spartanburg and we still have a steady snow.

Saw your last post. Fantastic news about the snow.

Hopefully we are just getting started.

congrats Robert........so you're only thinking a few inches for you? What's your take on the latest RUC and radar trends?

never really looked at in a few hours. I'm just happy to see it finally snow. I think what I'm going to do from this point on tonight is just enjoy whats falling, and never even look at the radar or RUC runs. It will be hard to do, but after sucha frustrating day (week !) I'm ready to just accept what ever comes and be happy with it. If its 1" total, so be it. If 4 or 6" even better, but radar can be misleading anyway in a situation like this.
