LKN WX
It has been snowing here for two hrs and all I have is Tr so far-the snow has been too light for the most part to drag the temps down to near 32. I am getting closer-33 but the radar doesn't show a lot of heavy echoes downwind.
strongwxnc
Solid 1" in bostic. Vis is under 1 mile and was close to .5 as I was driving back home Almost 2" in RUtherfordton. Roads are a lot worse there then in Spindale, FC and Bostic. Light snow now.
wncsnow
4 inches here in Marion, temp is dropping some, still 34, snow is lighter than it has been since 9 AM.... Hoping some heavier stuff gets in here in a few hours.

Robert
There are no more..this was it, couldn't ask for a better set up...I still believe most of SC will see snow in a little while, just not here. I've had light rain, moderate rain all day and the temps aint budging up top, the warm air is trapped! It's snowing all around me with some ground temps at 40°, so the warm air aloft is being over taken all around but greater Oconee will be the last spot if at all! I've seen it before, as a matter of fact the very last time we got in a winter storm warning along with NeGa we got jack crap! Could be 2 for 2! Im trying to be patient. Moisture is fading. This is frustrating to watch. I still got hope, but not much
Buddy
Buddy's pics make me depressed. It ain't over for you guys yet by a long shot. You'll see yours some time after midnight, I think.
WFDDeac
1.6" and still snowing moderately. Temp dropped another .7 degrees to 32.6 over the last half hour. The roads are now turning white. packfan98
WOW! Got around an inch here now with heavy snow. The driveway is completely covered and the road is starting to turn white. I'm just a few miles south of you and I'm all rain. I wonder if Jburns is reporting from Archdale.

audioguy3107
Trying not to weenie out here, but jeeez.....we've been under decent radar returns for the last 2 hrs and all we've had is drizzle and a few snowflakes. Not sure where everyone is in North Atlanta who's seeing "heavy snow"? It could do this for 72 hrs and we wouldn't have a thing on the ground. oconeexman
37.4° and still raining Just hit the .25" mark, half of the forecast qpf has already fallen and not a flake. Will it blow the qpf #'s away later today and actually snow...that's the question?? I still hold a smidge of hope that it'll be another over performing liquid producer and I get the 3-7" snow that was forecast.

Not sure where everyone is in North Atlanta who's seeing "heavy snow"? It could do this for 72 hrs and we wouldn't have a thing on the ground. That's how it was here west of Atlanta for a long time. But starting about 20 minutes ago the snow started to come down really good. Be patient, you will get into some good snow soon. It was frustrating for me as well to see the radar look good but all we had was drizzle.

I heard someone earlier said that as soon as they went into Guilford County, it turned to snow, so I'm not sure about Archdale.
randlemanncwx
Well, maybe I can use my imagination........ I am certainly happy for those that are getting snow. fyredog28
Between Winston Salem and Kernersville it's been snowing moderate to heavy since sometime between 11-12:30 (I was in church) I would guess 2 inches on the ground right now and snowing hard.
