Trends all downhill this AM

Trends have not been good for interior CT just away from LI sound. Still big question marks in central CT, and even northern CT.

The mesos like NAM and HRRR seem to be on the colder side of things. EURO/GFS is a little warmer.

The spread is large. We haven't seen a consensus at all.

Yup.  Even gets the downsloping at the CT shore, then the upslope over LI.  The high point on LI is over 400'.

I’m expecting white rain here tomorrow. I’d be stunned if anything accumulates more than some slush on the grass. Total epic fail here once again. But it does happen in some of these storms that the LI Sound and the terrain can enhance the snow here when we have a NE flow that causes some frictional convergence and some upslope on the north shore. My snow average is close to 35” which is comparable to the CT coast. This winter though 7.5”. Utter fail.

the first part of the storm has nothing to do with topography for CT its latitude and longitude as 925 is torched. However once 925s cool its all about topography and you should do very well tomorrow in your backyard..

Welp, we got the worst winter in our history almost over,

Should be all smooth sailing from here!

northern stream currently digging pretty beautifully. Greatest convection is deep across the Southeast right along the frontal zone. We'll just have to see how convection evolves (within the southern stream off the mid-Atlantic coast) later today. But FWIW, despite the differences at the sfc, the Euro mid-level evolution isn't bad at all.
