925 hPa temp hits freezing at hour 66 (Tuesday 18Z) and is below freezing every 6 hour interval to hour 90 (Wednesday 18Z) during which 1.2 inch QPF falls.  Surface temp per UKMET is 33.  I suspect ratios are poor, but more than 2 inches of snow should fall.

Hey can you post a few 700 FGEN panels from the ecmwf? Pivotal is only for paid and wxbell doesn't have them I wish they did. 

Probs have gone way up for the 00z cycle. Probably the highest yet for CT out of all the runs 50-60% 6"+ right down to the coast

  northeastern Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From Monday evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Heavy wet snow combined
  with gusty winds could bring down tree branches and result in
  power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain is expected to change to snow on
  Tuesday with snow continuing into Tuesday night. Snowfall and
  impacts will likely vary greatly with elevation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will become heavy late Monday night

  tapering off overnight. Snowfall and impacts will likely vary
  greatly with elevation.
