Unless it does a dramatic turn south, the PSU Vort is going to pass to our north

It’s the same wave it’s just coming across in two pieces unlike prior runs and most guidance that has it consolidated. If that wave were to have been consolidated thus run it might have been BIG

So euro split the energy and managed to almost snow twice. But both were soooo close to a bigger result. A tip of the scales towards either could go it!  Or if that second wave is more in sync it could have pulled it off. It was super close.

super close only counts in horseshoes

Kind of nice to be headed in a positve direction for once. Maybe we can pull one of the two off. Like being on the free throw line in the double bonus

For us this year it’s been more like Shaq at the line for a 1 and 1 with 5 seconds left…Down by 20

Dayum another wave day 10 but suppressed by the bomb still sitting over New England from wave 2 which ends up dropping 40” up there lol. And another wave lined up behind that one. Crazy crazy run.

might have to travel in March. Its always a bad sign when New England is the only benefiting from a -NAO

Of course it will snow on Saturday.  My son has a travel baseball game at Ripken field.  We are looking forward to it... if it gets rained/snowed out... we do not make it up. :(

But what if it’s the best inch ever…

West coast trough and PNA position just killing us. The first system could maybe trend to a light event over Philly and dc but you’re going to have BL temp issues in the coastal plain since the low isn’t going to mature until it’s way out to sea

At least it falls at night.

Both events have the “PNA” ridge too far E to allow any event to mature at our latitude.

I have a proposition, if that storm 2 destroys NE any where close to what OP has any one down for a group trip?

embrace it man - it also means places like the Sierras get like 12ft in one weekend.  We just have to go to those places.

This is the statement that makes the most sense!  Thank you!  You aren't kidding its been YEARS!! since they have had this level of snow out there which they so so desparetly need for the summer months in a highly arid climate.
