Picked up a soaking rain this morning, looks like 0.72” will be the overnight/morning total. Huge difference from here to Louisburg (about 20 miles) as usual. The farm dropped down to 27.6 which is a hard freeze. The Franklin county airport supports this as they briefly dropped to 28. My parents are reporting flakes mixed with surprisingly heavy sleet (probably graupel) near 440 north of Raleigh.
