TheDreamTraveler
Was out earlier and some parts out north and west had that hazy/stormy look. I know some light rain is appearing on radar over there so I'm wondering how much of that materializes

Definitely could see that happening with low DPs. Gotta love early spring..

Itstrainingtime
Today was mow #5 - I just mowed this past Saturday and the grass was very high today. Honestly it needed cut yesterday but I didn't have time.

No mow here yet just south of you but it's close. Probably next week. Gotta leave the grass tall enough for the Easter Bunny to do his thing. MAG5035
Half decent line of thunderstorms just came through to cap off what has been a straight up summer like day. Definitely organized and came through pretty quick. 81ºF was my high temp today.
CoralRed
First round was a dud. One flash of light, no thunder. But wait! canderson
In a severe t-storm warning here in central Texas as that line in PA races east.

I'm hoping the line moving east doesn't die off and then reform once it passes over me like it usually does. Or the line just dissipates lol

We had a third thunderstorms weather statement at 11:15 but still no show and hardly any rain. I suppose we will remember this time of constant disappointment someday when we are getting rain or snow all the time.
Yardstickgozinya
I was hoping to get to see a little more lightning than I got tonight . Seems like I did a little better then some. Probably got a little less than 1/4" of rain and maybe 20-25 strikes within earshot. Any nocturnal storm before may is always a win in my book ,and I have had several in the last few weeks . mahantango#1
Just looking around the outdoors this morning. All I can say is spring has taken over the last 3 days. Not feeling too confident on the fruit trees and more tender vegetation surviving the below freezing nights that are currently being forecasted. Mount Joy Snowman
A meager .01" here. Not optimistic on today's chances either, as I fear the line gets going too far east for most of us. After that, who knows when the next rains come. Mowed for the first time yesterday. It was my first springtime mow in over 10 years (came from an HOA who did all mowing). Man, did it feel good but also a pain in the ass with having a fence now. I don't care much for fences but with two dogs and two kids the wife left me no choice. MDT topped out at "only" 79 yesterday. Should be some comfortably cool days ahead after the frontal passage later today. Then the warmup begins. Question is, how long does the ridge dominate before breaking down? That will determine whether we can challenge any monthly records or not. Average temp for the month is up to 56. Onward. At this point, that ring of fire promoted by the GFS earlier has really been muted as of the last few runs. Still quite dry but it's been reduced to 2-3 days in the 70s. CMC is still warmer though.
