It's incredibly frustrating. My station is reporting a peak gust of 15 mph, but it is always way low, being "sheltered" in an "inner city-like" neighborhood. I can figure on nearly doubling the readings for more open areas in the region. That being said, I believe the area didn't have anything approaching severe.
