In all my years of being a weather enthusiast, this ranks up there as one of the most intense systems to track. Thankfully my family is particularly weather-aware these days, but still. Seeing that couplet pass within a mile or two of my parent's farm really got me. I was texting my mom the whole time, she said the sky actually turned a sort of yellow.

Ditto Red Sky here in Media it sounded like a Jet Plane as it approached and when it was on top of us.  It was a constant roaring also I saw something else I have never seen before lightning in circles literally shaped like circles.

Lights flickered here but never lost power winds gusted probably 50 mph or so.

I can hear roaring noises like the wind is high above ground strange.

I heard this same thing.  I actually said it out loud.  Went and checked the radar to make sure there wasn't a tornado coming right at me.  Strange for sure.

One of the most intense storms I’ve ever witnessed in my 30 years in this area. Sounded like a jet plane was overhead at the height of the storm. Couplet passed probably 5 miles north from my house. My brother in Yardley had quarter size hail and crazy wind but no tornado either. Winds here were easily in the 60-70mph range. Lots of power outages in my town including my house. Hope the generator works, I was literally about to tune it up for the summer next weekend…

I think we have a new mini Tornado Alley.  All these years in a row, now, can't be a coincidence.  Not bad for April 1st.

I actually had what I am calling pain-inducing "bean sized" hail - something that I don't recall ever seeing here.  The hail that we saw when I was a kid was mostly the pea-sized.  This stuff was much bigger.  As it is, this past year was the first in many years that I have had hail here - most times that small stuff has already melted before it hits the ground and it comes down in large droplets vs actual frozen stuff.

Currently recovering from that steep temp drop and am at 52 with dp 51.  Picked up an additional 0.85" of rain so far from round 2 for a total of 1.24" for the day.

We had ice-cube sized hail (and a small tornado I think touched down) near Oxford, PA in 2009. The hail very nearly totaled my wife's car. We were able to park in a grocery store lot and run to shelter right before it started getting serious. I am morbidly looking forward to the damage reports tomorrow.

I was at dinner in Skippack as the line came through. From what I saw, very heavy rain, intense lightning, but not much in the way of wind. Didn’t see any hail either.

Power was still on when I got home.

They have been saying that the main tornado alley has shifted from texas and Oklahoma over to Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, mississippi and alabama. Those areas were moderate risk, now it looks like we are on the fringe of that area.

No hail here either but the wind was strange. I was cleaning up outside and could hear the wind roaring in the distance before it came through. Nice lightning and thunder...one "out of nowhere" clap which startled the bejesus outta me.

More fun than anything this winter...

Nice cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds but what the hell, hardly any rain. All day long, only received less than . 50 in the bucket.  I have seen a much worse storm in the Lehigh Valley thats for sure. C'mon I need at least 1-2 inches of rain on Wednesday. The stiff NW  winds today will parch everything pretty quickly.  We really need a rain producer before the trees releaf.
