73 here. High for the day. Feels a tad humid.

There was a big lightning strike in the town of Ridgely this morning apparently. Stopped at the local hardware store on my way home and they were only taking cash/checks because it knocked out Comcast service. They said it was like a bomb went off. I was in Easton and only heard some rumbles in the distance.

The aurora are visible down to NC tonight.  Here's a shot from VA.  Anyone seeing them in the metros?

The only two spot that I think you could see locally, due to limited light pollution, are Blackwater Wildlife Refuge or Deal Island State Wildlife Management Area.

There used to be a spot near White's Ferry that was really dark.  Not sure how all the sprawl in NoVa has affected it.

I've had my screen door open and noticed the wind shift was pretty quick.  Kinda cool actually.
