Current conditions where I am in NY. WWA for 6-9” upped to a WSW for 6-15”.

1.2” in the past hour and 10” expected per Apple’s weather app, now powered by dark sky.

Will take pics in the daylight tomorrow AM. Shitty weekend to throw a surprise bday party weather wise

8+ more expected.

I need to travel more often during the winter. Seeing snow helps soothe my bitter weenie soul. It also reminds me that snow still exists.

We are happy for you  and send pics.

I will most definitely be posting Jeb walk pics tomorrow! Can hear the snow whipping against our hotel room window. Fatty snowflakes are falling with temps just above freezing. Glad I don’t have to shovel this shit.

So for the date I had a 39.1 degree 'low' at 4:56 pm after falling all day in mist/drizzle and light rain and a stiff E to NE breeze. THEN I had a 'high' at 4:03 am of 53.5 degrees after temps rose all night. Crazy day. Currently 39.7/30.0 and cloudy here with a WNW wind 9 gusting to 27 at 8 am. Highest wind was 35 mph at 4:14 am from W.

Mesos have me in mid to upper 50s around midnight...Sterling 59.  I have my doubts the warm sector will move that far inland...wouldn't be surprised if i stay in the upper 40s

I had the warm sector for about 2.5 hours.

41 up to 52 and down to 45.

Peak gust today 44

At the bar for this surprise bday party, look outside, and the snow machines apparently turned back on. Some trailing bands coming through. Could push them to a foot when all is said and done. The melt factor was real today though. Watched the snow disappear from hour to hour under sunlight.

Hoping I can bring winter back with me to the MA!

So, do we use this thread to celebrate the death of La Nina? There's every indication we should be neutral by the end of this month (if we're not there already)

How long before we know what kind of Nino we're getting ourselves into? Summer? Fall?

The nina is now dead. 3.4 is -0.2 atm. The cpc enso update is based on the average of the last 90 days, so they are behind.

We’ll know by June or July where this nino is going, if it does develop.
