I understand that sentiment but for 8-12?  Too much aggravation and flying into LGA will guarantee he’ll miss the whole thing/an airport to avoid at all costs!

That 18z GFS looked like a lot of pellets for you guys in SNE all the way to SNH verbatim, Not that it means much at the moment but i think it will have to be dealt with somewhere.

If it looks like 12+ he should do it.  Philly might be easier and its not a bad train ride.

All the 18z runs so far have strengthened the confluence in Quebec. Granted, rgem and NAM are in clown range for them but same trend as GFS and ICON.

LGA is vastly improved. That huge project is close to being complete if not done already.

I can’t really change my flight now, too costly. It’s going to a come down to Friday and what Delta decides to do. If they cancel then maybe I’ll jump on a flight to lga.

The trough goes neutral over Texas, and then starts gaining latitude even on these 18z runs. The confluence did strengthen a bit, but it enough to stop the storm from gaining latitude out west? No, also these usually trend north in the short range. I think this trends more north, a good 150-200 miles from now until verification.
