87storms
So I did take the drive…at about 1500’ in Gambrill and it’s snowing needles…no pingers. Not heavy…but it is accumulating lightly on the typical elevated surfaces/trees, etc.
Maestrobjwa
Fewer pingers more flakes now...just nice to see SOMETHING.
Stormfly
41.4º sun angle taking its toll through cloud deck. The graupel on the deck has succumbed to mister heat miser already. Seeing legit dendrites now but they are very light.

Weather Will
Drive between Frederick and Brunswick in 340 ground just wet but pretty sight with light snow and the Catoctins shrouded in fog and snow. Temp 33.
osfan24
Well, I saw some flakes. But nothing close to any kind of accumulation. Those maps were awful. Looks like the heaviest preciP was wayyyy south. Next.

CAPE
Basically just snow tv here. Had a period with some decent sized flakes and it started to stick in shaded areas, then went back to super light stuff. Radar doesn't look too encouraging, unless further south. 87storms
Driving back down Gambrill it seemed like ~800ft was the elevation/temp threshold where the light snow was able to accumulate. Would have prob been lower had rates been better up this way. Onto the next trackable event… 1

WEATHER53
Think my peak snowfall rate was 1”ph but just episodic in a 45 minute period of light to moderate. it was good to get the fire pit going in the snow
