Only a few towns came close to BDL’s average, with much of that from this last event. That’s ugly for everyone I’d argue. Tough winter for CT

Yeah as bad as it can possibly get around here, seems to be about on par for 01-02 and 19-20. But this blows away 06-07, 11-12, 15-16 at least for southern CT. 15-16 was probably one of the worst ever for the NW hills.

Actually, just going back that map is eerily close to 19-20 (assuming we don't get another big storm of course)

Do ninas usually favor those that are up and in

They typically have a latitudinal gradient. But you could argue latitude may matter more than elevation.

We’ve had plenty of great Nina’s. 17-18 was awesome and acted like a Nino.

But this Nina really lacked the good cold in NNE and SE Canada. It almost reminded me of a strong Nino at times.

I thought El Niño was good for us. Whatever. We’re the new Mid Atlantic.

It can be very good here. Overall though ENSO is a bit overrated in New England. We don’t want super Ninos or super Ninas l, but outside of that, we can do pretty well in any other ENSO state.
